Zambian amethyst is without doubt some of the finest amethyst, if not the finest in the world. The richness and velvety sumptuousness of the purple hues is next level and truly something to be appreciated. High quality Zambian amethyst is very scarce as little is produced and gem this is from a small parcel of old stock I recently got from a rough dealer in Germany.
So I decided that a such a beautiful piece of amethyst deserves a classic cut like the Asscher to really show off the colour. I have several other pieces of Zambian amethyst from the same parcel and I intend to cut a suite with a pair of earring stones and one for a pendant.
This gem I highly recommend for it’s unique origin, beauty, colour, size and cut… it is a special amethyst.
