Here's a monster of a sapphire! This beauty is an Australian parti sapphire that has been cut in the classic emerald cut design. Big sapphires like this are very scarce and quite special gems. The sapphire has yellow green parti colours and also what I call tiger stripes which are natural zones of colour, which, well, kinda look like tiger stripes. The gem does have some inclusions which are to be expected from a sapphire this size but all can be forgiven because it is a big, beautiful and very impressive sapphire. If you are someone who can wear big rings, this is the one for you!
