Sri Lankan White Sapphire - Emerald Cut - 3.39ct
A strikingly bright white sapphire from Sri Lanka. This beautiful sapphire has been finished in the classic emerald cut design. Many people don’t realise that natural sapphires come in a range of colours, not just blue. You can get almost every colour of the rainbow including white. Most white sapphires will have a subtle blush of a secondary colour, like mauve, pink, green, yellow, blue which tends to be very minor and actually adds a wonderful delicate dimension to the gem. This one might have a very light touch of pink (or is it mint?), it’s hard to tell it’s so subtle. Natural white sapphires offer a perfect alternative to diamonds and this one will make a fine ring stone.
