This carving was done purely for the fun of it. I had an odd shaped piece of rose quartz with beautiful colour but it had a few veils and inclusions to work around. So I just carved it with no preconceived idea of what it was going to be. About half way through I started to think that it looks a bit like a melting marshmallow. Add to that the wonderful pink soft gentle glow and you've got yourself a melting love marshmallow.
