The lovely blue hue of Namibian blue chalcedony is really very beautiful, some special quality about it. I carved this piece from a stone that was a little odd shaped. I tried to work with that as best I could and just reveal what was already there. The golden coloured patch is a natural silk-like inclusion of some mineral I don’t know… a little mystery to solve. A unique piece.
