A very fine sapphire from Montana in the USA. The sapphires from this location come in range of hues, particularly pastels and include beautiful bright golden yellow orange parti sapphires like this one. The sapphire has a very pale blue as well which blends with the yellow wonderfully and gives it soft green highlights. It is a very bright gem and I have finished it in a freeform portrait cut. The gem has a low profile and is ideal for any jewellery setting.
