Blue Zircon - Kalli - 8.7ct
The Kalli design is a favorite of mine when it comes to dome cuts. I like the high domed crown and the facet pattern but it's not one I cut often because of the number of facets (185!!!) and the complexity. It takes a while to cut this design so I save it for just the right piece of rough, like this beautiful Cambodian blue zircon. This gem has a high dispersion and scintillation and it really looks like there is a party going on inside. A special gemstone.
