A beautiful Australian parti coloured sapphire that I have skin polished to retain it's natural heart shape. I think this is a special stone and I do really like the heart shape. It is relatively thin and so will make a good ring stone with a low profile.
When it comes to setting skin polished sapphires do so in a similar manner to skin polished opal.
