Australian Green Blue Sapphire - Freeform Pentagon - 2.61ct
I finished this beautiful Australian sapphire in a nice sharp modern freeform pentagon cut. It faces up primarily blue with green flashes. Because of the odd shape of the original rough I was limited with the height of the crown so I made it a low tabletop style which works really well with the lovely saturated hues. This low crown also makes the gem ideal for a ring setting as it won't sit too high.
