Australian Bronze Green Sapphire - Freeform - 4.97ct
Here is a very fine natural Australian sapphire from the gemfields of Central Queensland. The shape of the original piece of rough stone was unusual so I decided to do a freeform style of cut as something a bit different. The colour of this sapphire is a nice bronzy green. It's hard to describe but whilst it is predominately a green stone it does have a sort of bronze hint to it. There are some natural silk inclusions in the sapphire but that adds more interest and character to an already very interesting gem.
